Local girl to compete at Miss United States Agriculture Pageant

Faith McMannis lives near Canton and will be competing in the Miss United States Agriculture Pageant after winning a title at the Midwest Miss United States Agriculture Pageant.

Faith McMannis recently won a title to compete in the 2024 Miss United States Agriculture

Pageant. The pageant will take place July 12 and 13 at the Enterprise Civic Center in Enterprise, Alabama.

McMannis competed at the Midwest Miss United States Agriculture Pageant in Des Moines IA on Nov. 11 where she won the title of 2024 Kansas Teen Miss United States Agriculture. She earned the title after winning these individual categories: interview, on-stage introduction, formal wear modeling, state fun fashion and photogenic. McMannis also won the title for Kansas People’s Choice by raising the most in scholarship donations and food bank donations. As one of the top ten contestants out of the 33 girls competing from Nebraska, Missouri, Iowa and Kansas, she also qualified for the final on-stage question round to determine the Overall Midwest Miss, where she placed 3rd runner up.

McMannis is the 14-year-old daughter of Josh and Tina McMannis and lives near Canton on her family’s cattle ranch. She is involved in the FFA program, helping with community events, livestock judging contests and more. She competes in four rodeo events as a member of the Kansas Junior High School Rodeo Association as well as serving as their student director for the bull riding event and the association’s rodeo princess.

At her school, McMannis is on the cross country, basketball and track teams.

She is excited to represent Kansas’s agricultural industry as Kansas Teen Miss United States Agriculture. She believes in educating people about the many facets of agriculture and unifying the agriculture communities of farming, ranching, rodeo and more.
