The Hillsboro Chamber of Commerce hosted a cruise night on Saturday, Aug. 10. Participants enjoyed lots of food and activities including free ice cream from Salem Home, free watermelon from State Farm Insurance, free soda from Great Plains Federal Credit Union, music by DJ sponsored by TCW-Fiber Broadband/Nex-Tech Wireless and more. Phoebe Janzen did photography for the event.
Jayson Hanschu of American Family Insurance also accepted school supplies from participants during the cruise night. The agency has been doing the event every August since 2020. They will continue to accept school supply donations for HMHS at their office at 104 E. 1st St. Ste. A through Aug. 23.
