The annual women?s ranch rodeo offered a Marion County Fair foretaste of fun Saturday at the fairgrounds.
Seven area teams competed in up to five events: branding, trailer loading, doctoring, sorting and tie down. The county fair officially begins at 6:30 p.m. today with the annual parade down Main Street in Hillsboro. A video of the parade will be posted at hillsborofreepress.com.
