?The men?s basketball team is extremely excited to help support this food drive,? he said. ?There is a real need for food in this county. Hopefully, this drive will help in that area and we can collect a good amount to really make a difference. Main Street Ministries was a big part of my life growing up and will always remain close to my heart.
?I also hope everyone around the area will come out and support the Tabor Bluejay football team against the University of Saint Mary,? Ratzlaff added.
Women?s coach Shawn Reed expressed similar sentiment.
?The Lady Bluejay basketball team is thrilled to partner with the men?s basketball team to assist the vital work of the Main Street Ministries Food Bank,? Reed said. ?We believe it is an important part of our ministry to give back to our local community, and the food bank fills such an important role in providing a basic necessity to those in need.
?So often we take for granted the abundance of food we are blessed to have, and it is our hope people will give from that abundance to people who are not so fortunate.?
