The Hillsboro boys’ basketball team gathers for a team photo following their 43-32 win over Lyndon in the finals of the Class 2A sub-state tournament hosted by Canton-Galva High School. The win gives the Trojans a berth in the state tournament this week at Manhattan. The team made a special effort to include in the photo their most inspirational team member: fourth-grader Colton Rempel, who is undergoing treatment for brain cancer. The Trojan girls’ and boys’ teams wore the “Colton Strong” T-shirts during the tournament. The shirts were created by his brother, Caleb, who is on the team.
