• An unidentified biker rumbles past a trailer load of donated bicycles that will be distributed to some lucky county children.

• The stream of 158 motorcycles and 25 classic cars exit Marion to drop off presents collected in Marion for Marion County children. Each participant is asked to donate one new toy as an entry fee. The annual event is sponsored by the Sons of American Legion 366, ABATE of Kansas Dist. 9 and Route 56 Classic Cruisers. Beyond the toys, which were dropped off at Hillsboro State Bank, the event raises additional money at an auction and chili feed. The toy run has raised more than $175,000 during the past 22 years.
