Huelskamp?s early town hall attracts low turnout

TimHuelskampApril142014_527-2First District Congressman Tim Huelskamp offers his analysis of the dangers posed by the U.S. national debt during a Marion County town hall meeting at 8 a.m. Monday in the Hillsboro Civic Center. Eight residents showed up to hear Huelskamp speak on a variety of familiar themes, including U.S. monetary policy and the amount of U.S. debt owned by China, the inefficient and sometimes nonsensical programs and regulations coming out of the Washington, D.C., bureaucracy and the status-quo leadership on Capitol Hill. Regarding House Speaker John Boehner, Huelskamp said, ?I?m one of the 12 (new Republican House members) who said we needed new leadership?and I?ve been punished for it ever since.?
