Hillsboro city, schools call public meeting

The city of Hillsboro and USD 410 are asking patrons to attend a community meeting to discuss the present and future of both entities.

The gathering will be 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 9, in the high school auditorium. The focus question will be, ?What is important to you about Hillsboro??

Mayor Delores Dalke and Superintendent Steve Noble will share prepared remarks and lead the discussion.

Also on hand as resources will be representatives from the city, Marion County, Tabor College, Hillsboro Development Corp., and Hillsboro Chamber of Com?merce.

State Sen. Jay Emler (R-Lindsborg) and State Rep. Don Schroeder (R-Hesston) have indicated their intention to attend.
