Santa Claus gets a hug from Harper Chrisjohn, 7, during the ?Down Home Christmas,? a community event Saturday in Hillsboro. In addition to Santa visiting several downtown locations, children and adults were also treated to carriage rides, s?mores, cookie decorating, a silent auction, bake-off contest, sales, specials and much more.
