Deja vu storm

TemperatureStop us if you?ve heard this one before: Tabor College students served the community by scooping snow after a winter storm. Clearing the sidewalks at Parkside Homes in Hillsboro on Monday afternoon were Tabor football players (from left) Keith Francis, Collin Hodges and Mark Hodges. The threesome was part of an eight-member sub-group of the team; each group is required to perform two service projects for the community. In some ways, this weekend?s storm was a replay of the one that hit Marion County less than a month ago. This time, though, only 3.4 inches of snow fell, but temperatures returned to Arctic levels, including a -2 degree reading on the thermometer at Bank Emprise on Monday morning (right photo).
