It?s a sight not often seen of late, and certainly not in February, but rain water was flowing down the gutters of South Washington Street in Hillsboro last Friday afternoon after significant moisture fell on Marion County and most parts of Kansas. The weather lab at Hillsboro Middle School registered 2.15 inches of precipitation from Friday through Saturday. In the northwest corner of Kansas, the moisture fell as significant snowfall, but the rest of the state enjoyed the spring-like showers.
