A legend embraces his successorTabor College running back James Monroe Jr. gets a congratulatory embrace from Rolland ?Bay? Lawrence during halftime of the Tabor-Bethel football game Saturday at Joel H. Wiens Stadium. For 40 years, Lawrence held the school career rushing record of 3,008 yards. Monroe broke the record Oct. 19 and, following Tabor?s 76-19 win over Bethel, the Bluejay senior has amassed 3,579 yards with one regular-season game to play. See Page 1B for details.
