County reports another positive COVID-19 case

Marion County Health Department just announced another lab-confirmed positive COVID-19 case identified in Marion County.

The individual is a female between the ages of 55-64 years of age. The case has been placed in isolation. Contact tracing is underway, with identified contacts placed in quarantine. A close contact is defined as being within 6 feet for 10 minutes or longer.

The Marion County Health Department is working with KDHE and will be monitoring the individuals placed in isolation and quarantine. No further information about the patient will be released.

The active case count at this time for Marion County is 3.
