County fair brings lots of fun

Marion County had a successful fair week last week. Bad weather didn’t stop the demolition derby from happening on Saturday night as participants and fans alike came out to enjoy the fun.
Patriotic riders on horses from Marion County closed out the end of the parade as they rode their horses through downtown Hillsboro on Wednesday night. Many from all over Marion County participated in the parade and gave out candy.
All of the 4-H clubs participated in the Marion County parade on Wednesday night in Hillsboro on Main Street including the Marion’s Happy Hustler’s 4-H club. They waved and smiled to everyone and threw out candy to those watching from the sidelines.
