Community comes together to honor Delora Kaufman

Friends and family gathered at the Hillsboro Public Library on Tuesday, Feb. 4 to honor former librarian Delora Kaufman. Kaufman died after a fight with cancer a few years ago. The HPL board purchased children and teen books and set up a special section dedicated to Kaufman since she loved working with children at the library. A stained glass window also hangs in the library now in honor of Kaufman. Her husband Kim, daughter Denny Johnson and two of her grandchildren were present at the event.
