Marion County Health Department announced Thursday that there is another lab-confirmed positive COVID-19 identified in Marion County. Another lab-confirmed positive COVID-19 was identified on Monday.

Both individuals are between the ages of 45-54 years of age. The cases have been placed in isolation.

Contact tracing is underway, with identified contacts placed in quarantine. A close contact is defined as being within 6 feet for 10 minutes or longer. The Marion County Health Department is working with KDHE and will be monitoring the individuals placed in isolation and quarantine.

No further information about the patients will be released.

Active case count at this time for Marion County is 2 as a previous case has been released from isolation.
