11th positive COVID-19 case confirmed in Marion County

On Sunday, June 28, Marion County Health Department released the news that there is another lab-confirmed positive COVID-19 identified in Marion County.

The case has been placed in isolation. Contact tracing is underway, with identified contacts placed in quarantine. A close contact is defined as being within 6 feet for 10 minutes or longer.

The Marion County Health Department is working with KDHE and will be monitoring the individuals placed in Isolation and quarantine. No further information about the patient will be released.

Active case count at this time for Marion County is 2.
