Thank You

It takes a village to raise a child?and what a glorious and supportive school system and church community it is indeed! Thank-you, dear extended family, for the financial contributions to the Ishmael Morris Education Fund, the glorious cards, thoughts, great food and prayers of intercession showered upon us, granting strength and peace to persevere through this difficult time of transition. On a very tough day this week I sat on the dock to grieve. There I was blessed by a fleeting presence alighting on me, lending an instantaneous mind metamorphosis: The Butterfly depicts the eph?emeral, unique beauty of each life that begins encased within a cocoon and emer?ges in its time, transformed, to color the world and give wings to the future. This insect symbolizes eloquently Rebecca?s stages through life. While the excruciating exhaustive process of releasing is, of yet, incomplete in us?she is free to fly! Still, we trust that in God?s perfect time the rich and active life force Rebecca exemplified in her life ministry of extravagant servanthood will take precedent in our memory over these dark days. Her deep faith lived out ?in spite of? physical and mental challenges, touched and forever changes the way we bear witness to God from this moment on. Even now we are free to celebrate fully the powerful witness of the Spirit that enabled her human potential to transcend the limitations imposed on her earthly being. We praise and glorify God for her legacy which continues on through us to bless you, our adopted brothers/sisters in Christ. In His love, LeNora and Londell Duerksen and Ishmael Mercy Morris. 39-1tnc
