Erica Hemmert and Robert Haude were married May 24 at First Mennonite Brethren Church in Wichita.

The ceremony was officiated by pastors Troy Miller and Brent Warkentin. A dinner and dance were held in celebration of the couple at The Hotel in Old Town, Wichita, following the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Kirk and Debbie Hemmert, WaKeeney, and Robert and Cindy Haude, Oceanside, Calif.

The bride was escorted by her father.

Matron of honor was Priscilla Sibayan, sister of the groom, and maid of honor was Joanna Haude, sister of the groom.

Attendants were Sheena Kuntzsch, Sarah Buehrle, Sara Clark, Cady Tibbs, Jill Hein and Amerie Schneider, all friends of the bride.

Best men were Sage Hemmert and Spencer Hemmert, brothers of the bride.

Groomsmen were Jacob Sibayan, brother-in-law of the groom, Lee Waldron, Jacob Schenk, Carson Greenhaw, all friends of the couple, Ryan Atkinson and Darren Wright, friends of the groom.

Ushers were Kody Jennings, cousin of the bride, Myles Jennings, cousin of the bride, Brent Overmiller, friend of the couple, Layne Frick, friend of the couple, Jon Janzen, friend of the groom, and Kenny Bergman, friend of the groom.

Flower girls were Taylor Buehrle, friend of the bride, Melonie Haude, niece of the groom, and Gabriella Sibayan, niece of the groom.

Ringbearers were Kade and Kolt Hemmert, cousins of the bride.

Candlelighters were Kenzie Hemmert, Karli Kubik, Max Kubik and Kinsley Kubik, all cousins of the bride.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Trego Community High School, WaKeeney, and a 2006 graduate of Tabor College, Hillsboro. She is pursuing her master?s degree in community counseling at Denver (Colo.) Seminary.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Shafter (Calif.) High School. He is employed by Denver Public School District and is finishing his special education credentials at Metro State College of Denver.

Following the wedding, the couple made a honeymoon trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica. They are now at home in Denver.

Renae Lundgren of Marion and Joshua Plett of Lincolnville were married May 31 at Marion Christian Church.

Parents of the bride are Ken Lundgren and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Ewing, all of Marion. The groom?s parents are Jerry and Rowena Plett of Lincolnville.

Honored guests were the bride?s grandparents, Walt and Lois Butcher of Emporia and Clara Kerns of Marion.

Pastor Carl Helm officiated the two o?clock double ring ceremony.

The bride read a poem she wrote for the groom.

Jennifer Lundgren sang a solo, ?Inside Your Heaven,? recently recorded by Carrie Underwood. She was accompanied by organist/pianist Anita Brookens. ?I Want to Be Your Everything,? recently recorded by Keith Urban, was played following exchange of vows.

Escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a white satin, strapless dress with a fitted, ribbed bodice that dipped to a V below the waist and attached to a flowing mesh-covered A-line skirt. Beaded appliques in a flower design adorned the bodice and trailed down the length of the skirt to the bottom of the attached medium-length train. The hem and train were outlined with delicate lace.

Jennifer Lundgren, sister of the bride, was the maid-of-honor. Stephanie Williams served as bridesmaid. Both wore sleveless, apple-red, floor-length dresses.

Jason Plett, brother of the groom, was the best man. Zeth Thornhill served as groomsman.

Jenaya Plett, niece of the groom, was the flower girl.

Tyler McDermeit, cousin of the bride, and Mark Vinduska served as ushers. Bree McDermeit and Brook Kerns, cousins of the bride, attended the guest book. Sydney Idleman and Morgan Ehlers, nieces of the groom, and Melissa Tajchman, cousin of the bride, handed out wedding programs and took gifts.

A reception followed the ceremony in the church basement. Servers were sisters of the groom, Dawn Hett, Angela Ehlers and Pamela Idleman. They were assisted by Colleen Tajchman and Melissa Tajchman, cousins of the bride.

The bride and groom are employed at Golden Heritage Foods LLC at Hillsboro. After a honeymoon at Red River, N.M., the couple resides on a farm near Lincolnville.

Stephanie Rae Mize and Zachary Ryan Leo, both of Wichita, were married at a 5 p.m. ceremony Sunday, Aug. 31, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Wichita.

Daniel Myers officiated the ceremony.

Parents of the bride are Frank and Barbara Mize of Wichita. The groom?s mother is Lee Henderson.

Maid of honor was Michelle Wilson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Carolyn Davis, sister of the bride. Flower girls were Morgan DeFelice and Tatum West.

The best man was Russel Beck, friend of the groom. The groomsman was Tyler Linscott, brother of the groom. Ring bearer was Dylan Davis.

Ushers were Josh Gerstenberger, Mike Bowyer, Chris Rasmusen and Jason Perez.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Beech Activity Center.
