Jodie Nichole Hiebert and Jason Randall Taylor, both of Haysville, were married Oct. 10 at New Spring Church in Wichita. Officiating the double-ring ceremony was Pastor Dave Hoover of Wichita.

Parents of the couple are Bobby and Brenda Hiebert of Hillsboro and Randy and Melanie Taylor of Seffner, Fla.

Grandparents are Ron Peterson of Murphy, N.C., and the late Lorene Taylor; Aleta Blevins and the late Robert Blevins of Fall River and Luella Hiebert and the late Ernest Hiebert of North Newton.

Wedding colors were chocolate brown and orange. Decor-ations included two candelabra and a unity candle stood decorated with tulle and bronze mums, orange lilies, orange roses, red alstroemeria and brown ribbon with tulle pew bows.

Jordyann Hiebert, niece of the bride, was gift carrier.

Guest book attendant was Jaime Melson, sister of the bride. Candlelighters were the mothers of the bride and groom.

Guitar and vocals were done by Lance Cummins.

The bride?s dress was a white satin, A-line; strapless with empire bodice and bow. Tulle overlay accented with beaded lace and gold thread with chapel-length train.

She wore a matching veil and gold tiara with rhinestones, pearls, elbow-length gloves accented with crystal beads and pearls.

The bride?s bouquet was made of white roses, white cushion mums, white alstroemeria hand-tied with white satin ribbon.

The maid of honor was Ivy Taylor, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Hiebert, sister of the bride and Katy Nixon, friend of the bide.

Holly Taylor, daughter of the groom, was the flower girl.

The best man was Trent Rintoul, friend of the groom.

Groomsmen were John Michael Cabot and Aaron Johnson, both friends of the groom.

Connor Hiebert, son of the bride, was the ring bearer.

Honorary attendants were Kyle Taylor and Jason Taylor, Jr., sons of the groom.

A reception was held at New Spring Church in Wichita. The brides?s parents and wedding coordinator, Loretta Paxton, served as host and hostesses.

Assisting at the reception was Andrea Fiedler, cousin of the bride, and Valerie Rintoul, friend of the bride.

A rehearsal dinner was held Oct. 9 at Olive Garden in Wichita.

The bride graduated from Hillsboro High School in 2003 and Hutchinson Community College in 2004.

The groom graduated from Seffner Christian Academy in 2003 and served in the U.S. Air Force at McConnell Air Force Base in Wichita.

He is now in aircraft production at Cessna Aircraft.

The bride is a licensed practical nurse at Westview Manor in Derby.

Following a honeymoon to Kansas City, Mo., the couple will reside in Haysville.

Shelley Marie Falibota and Michael Ryan Baltzer were married May 10 at Saint John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Frederick, Md. Officiating the double-ring ceremony was Father Daniel R. Goulet.

The bride is the daughter of Jerry and Janet Falibota of Frederick. The groom is the son of Doug and Shirley Baltzer of Lehigh.

Grandparents are Helen Jane Klassen and Jona and Mary Baltzer, all of Hillsboro.

Attendants were Shane Falibota, brother of the bride, and James Werth, friend of the groom.

Scripture was read by Katie Baltzer, sister of the groom.

The bride is a 1997 graduate of Gov. Thomas Johnson High School in Frederick and a 2002 graduate of Pennsylvania University with a bachelor of fine arts degree. She has a master?s degree in fine arts from American University, Washington, D.C. with graduate work in Italy.

She is employed at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C.

The groom is a 2000 graduate of Hillsboro High School and a 2004 graduate of Bethany College in Lindsborg with a bachelor of arts degree in studio art. He has a master of fine arts degree from American University. He is employed at Hirschorn Gallery in Washington, D.C.

Following a trip to Disney World and a cruise to Nassau, the couple will reside in Chevy Chase, Md.
