Armbrister, Suderman wed?
Shanna Armbrister and Ryan Suderman, both of Kansas City, were married in an evening ceremony Sept. 1 at The Grand Chapel in Wichita.
Pastor Gaylord Goertzen officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of William and Pamela Armbrister of Wichita. The groom is the son of Rodney and Shirley Suderman of Hillsboro.
Bridesmaids were Tanya Chisum, Sara Wendling, Amy Barry, Christin Wendt and Molly Ginder.
Groomsmen were Derrick Funk, Chris Seibel, Nathan Funk, Nathan Fish and Shannon Friesen.
A dinner and dance followed the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of Halstead High School, Kansas State University and Wichita State University. The groom is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and Kansas State University.
After a honeymoon to St. Lucia Island, the couple resides in Shawnee.
Steketee, Gilkey celebrate marriage?
Renee Steketee and Johnny Gilkey, Jr. were married at 2 p.m. May 19 at Durham First Baptist Church.
Curtis Wiens and Robert Fenstermacher officiated the double-ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Ben and Mary Steketee of Hillsboro, and granddaughter of Robert and Helen Fenstermacher of Hillsboro and Robert Steketee of Earp, Calif.
The groom is the son of John and Nellie Gilkey of Hillsboro, and grandson of Della Douglas of Nevada, Mo.
The bride was escorted by her father and wore a princess style lace and chiffon floor length gown with a fingertip veil and carried a bouquet of burgundy and white gerbera daisies.
Maid of honor was Jessica Geller, friend of the bride. Bridal attendants were Jaimie Steketee and Becky Steketee, sisters of the bride. Flower girl was Bailey Greer, niece of the groom.
Best man was Robert Gilkey, brother of the groom. Groom?s attendants were Jason Greer, brother-in-law of the groom, and Randall McKinnis, friend of the groom.
Ushers were Ben Steketee, Jr. of Hillsboro, brother of the bride, and Samuel Villanueva of Henderson, Nev., cousin of the bride.
Guest book and gift table attendants were Stephanie Abbott and Jayme Claassen.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Senior Center in Hillsboro. The cake table was hosted by Maria Loewen and Julia Loewen.
The bride graduated from Hillsboro High School and is employed by Marion County Learning Center of Hillsboro.
The groom graduated from Neodesha High School and is employed by Flamings Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning of Marion.
The couple resides in Hillsboro.
