Campbell, Rhoades make their vows

RhoadesWedding78.jpg Laura Beth Campbell and Joshua Aaron Rhoades were married Dec. 15 at Bethel College Mennonite Church in North Newton, with pastor David Gass of Cedar Point Community Church officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Don and Sylvia Campbell of Wichita and the granddaughter of Jim and Leta Beth Wheeler of Douglass and Charles and Mary Campbell of Winston-Salem, N.C.

The groom is the son of Marc and Denise Rhoades of Newton and the grandson of Don and Norma Wike of Palm Coast, Fla., and Keith and Susan Rhoades of North Newton.

Matron of honor was Jodi Stutzman, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rachael Flick, friend of the bride, and Rachel Pederson and Amy Rouse, friends of the couple.

Flower girls were Willow and Bethany Gass, friends of the couple. Personal attendants were Rebecca Pederson and Bethany Moore, friends of the couple.

Best man was Justin Rhoades, brother of the groom. Grooms?men were David Campbell, brother of the bride, and Shane Miller and Anthony Adams, friends of the groom. Ring bearer was Wesley Rhoades, cousin of the groom.

Ushers were Matt Campbell and Andrew Campbell, brothers of the bride, and Sam Flaming, Aaron Miller and Andrew Toews, friends of the groom. Guestbook attendants were Cheri Miller, Ashley Siler, Bri Tucker and Kayla Vix, friends of the couple.

Candlelighters were Lindsay and Hannah Rhoades, sisters of the groom. Musicians were Sharon Toews, friend of the couple, and Jennifer Kirk, friend of the bride.

Photographers were T&J Studios of Valley Center. Videographer was Toby Berg, friend of the groom.

A reception and dance followed the ceremony at Bethel College Memorial Hall. Deejay was Ben Wheeler, cousin of the bride.

The bride graduated in 2005 from Tabor College with a bachelor?s degree in English and communication/journalism. She is employed as communication coordinator at the National Institute for Aviation Research at Wichita State University.

The groom attended Tabor and is scheduled to graduate in 2009 from WSU with a bachelor?s degree in communication/electronic media.

Following a honeymoon to Palm Coast, the couple resides in Wichita.


Wiebe and Hein marry in December

Erin Wiebe and Mathew Hein were married Dec. 8, 2007, at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Church, with pastor Paul Raugust officiating.

Parents of the couple are Hank and Lynn Wiebe, and Dick and Carla Hein, all of Hillsboro. Grandparents are Rubena Wiebe, Al and Roberta Isaac, Velma Funk and Joyce Hanneman, all of Hillsboro.

Maid of honor was Greta Wiebe, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Carmen Hein, sister of the groom, Liz Easter, cousin of the bride, and junior bridesmaid Molly Wiebe, sister of the bride.

Best man was Sheldon Funk, cousin of the groom. Grooms?men were Creigh Bell, friend of the groom, and Andrew Hein, cousin of the groom.

Ushers were Merlin Funk, Lyle Isaac, Lonnie Isaac, Nathan Funk, Brad Gattis and Wade Sorensen.

Candlelighters were Emily Haury and Naila Kunantaeva, cousins of the bride.

The couple honeymooned in Colorado.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Hillsboro High School and has attended Tabor College for two years. She is employed by Head Start of Marion County, and Prairie View-Hillsboro.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Hillsboro High School and a 2004 graduate of WyoTech in Laramie, Wyo. He is employed at Rod?s Tire in Hillsboro.
