Schrag, Walters exchange vows

Joanna R. Schrag and Zachary A. Walters were married Dec. 30, 2006 in Paoli, Ind., with James Walters, grandfather of the groom, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Joyce Schrag of Salina and the late Joel Schrag. The groom is the son of Cynthia and Mark Walters of Bloomington, Ill.

Grandparents are the late Ed and Violet Berg of Hillsboro and the late Andrew and Bertha Schrag of Moundridge.

Maid of honor was Mary Longden of Potwin. Best man was Zachary Stafford of Greer, S.C.

The bride graduated from Bob Jones University, Greenville, S.C., with a bachelor?s degree in accounting. She is employed with Ernest and Young, Fraud Investigation and Dispute Services in Atlanta, Ga.

The groom attended Bob Jones University and is employed at Nuvox Communications as an account executive in Atlanta.

The couple now resides in Atlanta.

 


 

Gentry, Esau celebrate marriage

Matt-&-Meghan-0370.jpgMeghan Alaine Gentry and Matthew Lee Esau, both of Tulsa, Okla., were married July 21 at the Stinchcomb Mansion in Broken Arrow, Okla., with Vaughn Jost officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Doug and Mary Gentry of Mishawaka, Ind. The groom is the son of LaVerne and Linda Esau of Hillsboro.

Bridesmaids were Katy Wanner, cousin of the bride, Nikki Jones, sister of the groom, Joanna Bjerum, Blanca Kaufman and Becky Klein, all friends of the couple. Flower girl was Anna Jones, niece of the groom.

Groomsmen were Kyle Gentry, brother of the bride, Chris Combs, John Bjerum, Joe Kaufman and Mike Klein, all friends of the couple. Ring bearer was Aiden Wanner, cousin of the bride.

Usher was Bob Jones, brother-in-law of the groom.

A reception and dinner were held following the ceremony at the Stinchcomb Mansion.

The bride graduated from Penn High School and attended Ivy Tech in Mishawaka.

The groom graduated from Hillsboro High School, from Tabor College with a bachelor?s degree in graphic design and from Bethel College in North Newton with a degree in music. He is employed as a graphic designer for Image Group in Tulsa.

Following a honeymoon to North Carolina, the couple resides in Tulsa.
