Mayfield and Burgan exchange vows at Eberly Farm

Mayfield Burgan weddingTaryn Renee Mayfield and Derek Alan Burgan were united in marriage Friday, June 7, in an outdoor ceremony at Eberly Farm in Wichita with Derek Mayfield, brother of the bride, officiating.

Parents of the couple are Dale and Lisa Mayfield of Hillsboro and Mike and Diane Burgan of St. John. Grandparents of the couple are Karon Hess of Marion, Gib and Kay Burgan of Moundridge, and Allen and Karlene Pauls of Hutchin?son.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore a white/pewter slim-line Maggie Sottero ?Reece? gown with gossamer chiffon ruched toward a beaded, deep v-neckline. The encrusted halter straps transformed into a sensation bar back treatment.

The matron of honor was Lauryn Unruh, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tessa Mayfield, sister-in-law of the bride, Mieka Serene, friend of the bride, and Brooke Burgan, sister of the groom.

The best man was Trey Burgan, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Travis Neidig, Ted Regehr and Brett Williams, friends of the groom.

Flower girls were Jaleigh Burgan, niece of the groom, and Collyns Unruh, niece of the bride. Taten Mayfield, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer.

Ushers were Kale Arnold, Grady and Trevor Pauls, cousins of the groom, Bryce Garner, friend of the groom, and Corey Unruh, brother-in-law of the bride.

Guestbook and gift attendants were Kassidi Luthi and Allie Faul, friends of the bride. Program attendants were Kori Arnold, cousin of the groom, and Macy, Kelli and Erika Hess, cousins of the bride.

Derek Mayfield, accompanying himself on guitar, provided music during the ceremony.

Following the ceremony, a reception, dinner and dance was held inside Eberly Farm. Reception hosts and hostesses were Todd and Sandy Arnold, uncle and aunt of the groom, and Bryan and Melanie Ellison, uncle and aunt of the bride.

Reception attendants were Angie McCarty and Jennifer Hess, aunts of the bride; Kristin Burgan, sister-in-law of the groom; Shannon Pauls, aunt of the groom; and Angela Albin, friend of the bride.

The rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom?s parents was Thursday evening at the Fox and Hound Restaurant in Wichita.

The bride is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and attended Brown Mackie Veterinary Technical School in Salina. She is employed at McPherson Veterinary Clinic.

The groom is a graduate of St. John High School and Kansas State University. He is a finance manager at Midway Motors in McPherson.

The couple honeymooned in south Texas, and reside in McPherson.

Stenzel, Weibert wed in Wichita

Stenzel Weibert weddingBlair Deanne Stenzel and Wade Andrew Weibert were united in marriage June 1 at Calvary United Methodist Church in Wichita.

Pastor Laurence J. Greenwood officiated the double-ring ceremony.

The bride, who was escorted by her father, wore an ivory strapless lace fit-and-flare gown with a side split featuring a tulle inset. The bodice was adorned with ornate lace detail and a lace-up back. She carried a lace-wrapped peach bouquet containing garden roses, Calla lily, Dusty Miller, peonies and Ranunculus. Her finger-tip veil was trimmed with beading matching the bodice of her dress.

Courtney McCreary, friend of the bride and groom, was the maid of honor.

Baylie Harsh, cousin of the bride; Amelia Furrow and Andrea Weiss, friends of the bride and groom; and Maddi Brown, sister of the groom, served as bridesmaids.

The best man was Nick Weibert, brother of the groom. Trevor Viers, Justin Gehrt, Richard Galli and Zach Kendall, friends of the bride and groom, were groomsmen.

Flower girls and ring bearers were Kaylee Weibert and Aila Papadopoulos, nieces of the groom, and Kaxton Weibert and Simon Papadopoulos, nephews of the groom.

Ushers were Tanner Stenzel, brother of the bride, and Taylor Braet, Brice Vignery and Kyle Woodall, friends of the bride and groom. Lighting candles for the ceremony were Corey Braet and Jordon Abbott, friends of the bride and groom.

Reading scripture during the ceremony were Laura Skiles and Patric Jackson, friends of the bride and groom.

Julie Smith and Tom Chegwidden, friends of the bride, were soloists performing, ?I Will Not Take My Love Away,? by Matt Wertz, and ?Forever Like That,? by Ben Rector.

Other musicians were Shannon Eickoff, friend of the bride and groom, and Amelia Eickoff, goddaughter of the bride, who performed, ?Son for Sienna,? on the piano and cello as the bride entered the sanctuary.

Parents of the couple are Murray and Karla Stenzel of Wichita; Ron and Brenda Brown of Hillsboro and Dave Weibert of Wichita. Grandparents are Harold and Shirley Kasper of Hillsboro; Robert and LaDonna Schneider of Newton; the late Bill and Kala Stoddard of Council Grove; Larry and Charlene Stenzel of Wichita and Dave and Doris Weibert of Hillsboro.

The reception following the ceremony was held at Fulton Valley Farms in Augusta. The couple honeymooned in Lake Tahoe, Nev., and are currently living in Owatonna, Minn.
