Cederberg, DykeCederberg, Dyke exchange vows

Kirsten Cederberg of Hillsboro and Daniel Dyke of Haysville, both residing in Wichita, exchanged wedding vows at 6 p.m. Sept. 14.

The ceremony was at East Heights United Method?ist Church in Wichita with pastor Kimberly Dickerson-Oard officiating.

The bride?s parents are Kyle and Christine Ceder?berg of Hillsboro. The groom?s parents are Ron and Gloria Dyke of Haysville.

Decoration colors were dark eggplant purple, burnt oranges and champagne and ivory.

The bridesmaids wore floor-length, dark purple, one-shoulder gowns. The tuxedos were black with dark purple vests and an ivory vest for the groom.

The flowers consisted of hydrangeas, the bird of paradise, orchids, lilies and roses.

The church was decorated by candlelight, flowers down the aisle and large floral arrangements at the altar. The reception was decorated with both floral and candle lit centerpieces, ivory linen and dark purple runners on all of the tables.

The ceremony prelude and postlude were played by a string quartet. Raya Parez, the groom?s sister, played piano and Sean McCoskey, a friend of the couple, was the vocalist.

The bride wore an all-lace ivory dress by Waters. The dress was a floor-length, trumpet-style gown, with an open back and buttons running down the back of the gown. The dress was accented with a satin belt with a flower and jewels. The bride wore her mother?s cathedral-length veil.

The bride?s bouquet was a mixture of white roses, hydrangea and baby calla lilies. It also contained a blue broach from both grandmothers of the bride and was accented with jewels and pearls.

The maid of honor was Stephanie Loewen Collins, friend of the bride. Brides?maids were Lynd?sey Woods, cousin of the bride; Kath?erine Ceder?berg, cousin of the bride; Julie Ruggiero, friend of the bride; and Beka Johnson, friend of the bride.

The flower girl was Katie Montaneo, niece of the groom.

The best man was Jordan Dyke, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Michael Fowler, Prawi Aponso, Sam Smith and Jimmy Sharp, all friends of the groom.

The ringbearer was Carson Woods, cousin of the bride.

Ushers included Drew Cederberg, brother of the bride; Rana Parvez, brother-in-law of the groom; Alex Conley, friend of the groom; and Tracy Williams, friend of the groom.

The reception was at the Hyatt Regency in Wichita following the ceremony.

Guestbook and gift attendants were Christie Mon?taneo, sister of the groom, and Jessika Dyke, sister-in-law of the groom.

The wedding coordinator was Elizabeth Hadsall of the Hyatt Regency in Wichita.

The rehearsal dinner was at River City Brewery Sept. 13 following rehearsal at the church.

The bride is a 2005 graduate of Hillsboro High School and a 2008 graduate of Friends University, where she earned a bachelor?s degree in organizational management with a minor in hotel and restaurant management.

She is employed as convention services manager at the Hyatt Regency in Wichita.

The groom graduated in 2010 from Wichita State University, where he earned a bachelor?s degree in aerospace engineering and a minor in mathematics.

The groom is employed as an aerospace interior engineer at Millenium Concepts Inc.

The couple?s honeymoon was in Maui and Kauai, Hawaii. They reside in Wichita.
