Courtney Weber and Aaron KlassenKlassen, Weber wed in Pilsen

Courtney Weber and Aaron Klassen, both of Hillsboro, were united in marriage at 2 p.m. May 21 in a double-ring ceremony officiated by Father Darrin May at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church at Pilsen.

The bride is the daughter of Eddie and Connie Weber of Hillsboro. The groom is the son of Dale and Kay Klassen, also of Hillsboro.

The altar was filled with sunflowers, and the aisles were decorated with burlap bows and sunflower and wheat bundles.

Musicians included Heather and Nicole Loewen, cousins of the bride, playing the harp and piano. Matt Martin, friend of the groom, played the guitar.

The bride’s dress was a Mori Lee fitted lace gown with crystal strapless sweetheart neckline and chapel-length train. It also had satin-covered buttons down the back and Swarovski crystal accents at the waistline.

A mixture of sunflowers, mini sunflowers and assortment of greenery was the bride’s bouquet.

Allison Weber, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor, and the three bridesmaids included Krista Reim­er, Sammy Koons and Kate­lyn Smith, all were friends of the bride.

The flower girl was April Suderman, a cousin of the groom.

Dylan Jirak was the best man and friend of the groom.

Groomsmen were Derek Kelsey, friend of the groom; Andy Klassen and Brandon Klassen, both brothers of the groom.

Maddox Hefley, a friend of the couple, was the ringbearer.

Ushers included Brandon Rooker, Caleb Perkins, Aaron Bina and Mat­thew McMillen, all friends of the groom.

The reception was at Herington Community Build­ing and decorated in a rustic theme with burlap runners on each table and Mason jars filled with Baby’s-breath and sunflowers.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom’s parents at Olde Towne Event Center. Robb Scott, of Hills­boro, catered the meal.

The bride earned a bachelor of science degree in education, majoring in elementary education with a middle school mathematics endorsement from Emporia State University in May 2016.

She is employed at USD 313 Buhler-Prairie Hills Middle School teaching seventh and eighth grade math.

The groom earned a bachelor of science degree in agriculture majoring in agricultural technology management with a minor in Agronomy from Kansas State University in May 2016.

He is employed at Lang Diesel Inc. as a technology specialist, working in central Kansas.

The couple honeymooned in Riviera Mia, Mexico, and stayed at the Grand Palladium Colonial Resort and Spa.

Following the honeymoon, they are at home in Hutchinson.
