Unruh, Buller wed in rural Hillsboro
Lindsey Unruh and Dylan Buller were married June 13 in the yard of the groom?s parents, Jon and Shelley Buller, rural Hillsboro, with pastor Doug Krehbiel officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Mike and Jodi Unruh of rural Hillsboro. Her grandparents are Dennis and Lavina Schroeder of Goessel, and Harold and Joyce Unruh of rural Newton. The groom?s grandparents are: Irvan and Viola Buller of Goessel, and Milt and Alice Goerzen of rural Newton.
Maid of honor was Darla Funk of Manhattan, friend of the couple. Bridesmaids were Tara Goerzen, rural Newton, and Melinda Stucky, Newton, friends of the bride.
Best man was Nicholas Peters, Maryville, Mo., friend of the couple. Groomsmen were Kyle Funk, rural Hillsboro, friend of the couple, and Travis Buller, Wichita, brother of the groom.
Ushers were Jake Unruh, rural Hillsboro, brother of the bride; Josh Schmidt, Goessel; and Ryan Nikkel, Newton, both friends of the groom.
Mike and Jane Buller, rural Newton, uncle and aunt of the groom, served as host and hostess. Music was provided by Jake Schmidt, Buhler. Guestbook attendant was Jessica Schroeder of Goessel.
A reception followed at the home of Mike and Jodi Unruh, rural Hillsboro.
The bride is a graduate of Goessel High School and Emporia State University.
The groom is a graduate of Goessel High School and Kansas State University.
The groom is employed by FCI Constructors, Inc. in Cheyenne, Wyo., where the couple resides.
Hein, Gattis wed Oct. 4 in Hesston
Carmen Hein and Brad Gattis of Overland Park were married Oct. 4, 2008, at Hesston Menno?nite Church with pastor John C. Murray officiating.
Parents of the couple are Dick and Carla Hein of Hillsboro and Homer and Jan Gattis of Hesston.
Lindsay Adrian and Bailey Estelle served as maids of honor and Scott Shaffer and Matt Nelson as best men.
Bridesmaids were Christen Buller, Abby Jantz, Andrianne Bechtold and Jill Hein.
Groomsmen were Andrew Braun, Jared Reece, Patrick Miller and Jason Dechant.
Flower girls were Rylee Dundon and Emersyn Funk.
Ushers were Matt Hein, Sheldon Funk, Cole Esau and Stacy Elmore.
A tented reception was held at the home of family friends of the groom.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Tabor College. She earned her master?s degree in social work at the University of Kansas in May. She is employed with Workforce Partnership in Kansas City.
The groom is a 2006 graphic design graduate of Tabor College. He is employed with Kansas City Prudential Realty in Overland Park.
The couple honeymooned in Negril, Jamaica, before returning home to Overland Park.
