Acosta and Plenert united in marriage

Cassie Acosta and Clinton Plenert, both of Lakewood, Colo., were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Jan. 2 at Red Rocks Baptist Church in Morrison, Colo., with pastor Les Heinze officiating.

The bride is the daughter of David and Tammy Acosta of Parker, Colo. Grandparents of the bride are Jim and Loreen Johnson of Florissant, Colo.

The groom is the son of Ron and Nancy Plenert of Goessel. Grandparents are Abe and Janice Plenert of Dillon and the late Peter and Ruth Franz.

Maid of honor was Deanna Acosta of Parker. Bridesmaids were Justine Plenert of Goessel and Joey Meyering of Watertown, Wis.

Best man was Zach Plenert of Emporia. Groomsmen were Ryan Acosta of Parker; Kellen Plenert of Dillon, Mont., and Matt Clark of Bushton.

Eliana Caucutt of Denver, Colo., was the flowergirl, and Michael Miller of Wichita served as ringbearer.

Candlelighters were Jessica and Alyssa Acosta of Parker.

Ushers were Jared Meyering of Watertown.

The bride graduated from Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown. She is employed at Silver State Christian School in Morrison.

The groom graduated from Bethany College in Lindsborg and is employed at The Sports Authority corporate office in Englewood, Colo.

The couple honeymooned in Seattle, Wash., before making their home in Lakewood.

Willingham, West exchange vows

LaDonna Willingham and Richard West of Strong City were married April 3 in a double-ring ceremony by Newton Assembly of God pastor Roger Scantlin.

The bride is the daughter of David Willingham and the late Patricia Willingham.

The groom is the son of Rich and Ada Hill of Cottonwood Falls and Jon and Donna Curnutt of Florence.

Maid of honor was Donna Curnutt. Bridesmaids were Dottie Haskin and Shannon Shaw.

Best man was Will West. Groomsmen were Bill West and Dave West.

Flowergirls were Eden McKinney, Lacey Willingham and Autumn Haskin. Ringbearer was Breanna Mallory.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Olpe High School.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Chase County High School and is attending Westwood College. He is a certified nurse assistant at Golden Living Center.

Following their wedding, the couple will reside in Strong City.
