Massey, Ratzlaff united in marriage?
Afton Massey of Topeka and Brandon Ratzlaff, of Hillsboro, were united through the holy sacrament of marriage on May 24 at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral in Wichita.
The ceremony was officiated by John Baize, priest of Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Christian Church of Hillsboro.
Parents of the bride are Brad and Laurie Streets of Topeka. The groom?s parents are Don and Marilyn Ratzlaff of Hills?boro.
Maid of honor was Katie Lehrman, friend of the bride, and best man was Don Ratzlaff, father of the groom.
Bridesmaids were Karen Young, Jeni Scott, Carrie Overton and Krystal Ford, all friends of the bride.
Groomsmen were Bri Ratz?laff, brother of the groom, Brad Means, Alan Yoder and Kyle Bartel, all friends of the groom.
A dinner and dance in honor of the couple followed the ceremony.
Following the wedding, the couple honeymooned on Taveuni Island, Fiji.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Seaman High School, Topeka, and a 2007 graduate of Kansas State University, Manhattan. She earned a degree in elementary education.
The groom is a 2003 graduate of Hillsboro High School, and also a 2007 graduate of Kansas State University. He earned his degree in graphic design.
The couple is now at home in Overland Park.
The bride is a fifth-grade teacher at Pioneer Ridge Middle School in Gardner, while Brandon is a Web designer at Intouch Solutions, an interactive marketing agency in Overland Park.
