Kroeker, Hamilton married March 27

Shannon Kroeker and LCDR Robert Hamilton exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. March 27 at Parkview Mennonite Brethren Church in Hillsboro with pastor Stephen Humber officiating.

The bride is the daughter of David and Kim Kroeker of Hills?boro. Grandparents of the bride are Doris and the late Harold Kroeker and Don and Jackie Mickels. The groom is the son of Andrew Hamilton and the late Susan Hamilton of Atlanta, Ga.

The bride wore an ivory taffeta full A-line gown with an embroidered and beaded fitted dropped waistline. The skirt featured caught-up accents with the back cascading into a bubble hem chapel train.

Angela Jost, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Cassie Kroeker, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Adrien Piercy and Melody Money, friends of the bride.

Andrew Hamilton Jr., brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Olderog, William Moore and Stephen Hester, all friends of the groom.

Flowergirls were Addison Jost, niece of the bride, and Kalli and Allison Kroeker, cousin of the bride. Ushers were Kyle Kroeker, brother of the bride, and Caleb Schroeder, cousin of the bride.

Music was provided by a string quartet. Ceremony vocalists were Dave, Jay, John and Paul Kroeker, father and uncles of the bride. Kyle and Carly Kroeker, brother and cousin of the bride, sang a duet composed by the father of the bride.

An hors d?oeuvres reception with live jazz music followed at the Historic Elgin Hotel in Marion.

The couple honeymooned in France and Italy and now make their home in San Diego, Calif.
