Konarik, Howell marry March 13

Marie Konarik and Christopher Howell were married March 13 at Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Manhattan with Father Joseph Popelka officiating.

Parents of the couple are Robert and Karen Konarik of Marion and Mike and Glenda Conroy of Denver, Colo., and Jerry and Angie Howell of Dallas, Texas.

Organist was Ramona Kramer. Soloist was Mary Griffith, aunt of the bride. Lector was John Griffith, uncle of the bride.

The bride wore a white strapless satin gown designed by Cassini. The bodice and hem were heavily beaded and embroidered with Swarovski crystals and bugle beads. The full skirt fell into a chapel-length train that was also accented by embroidery. She wore a tiara and fingertip-length veil accented with crystal beads around the hem and long-white beaded gloves.

She carried a round bouquet of deep red roses, white stock and leafy greenery.

Maid of honor was Renee Appleby, who wore a black tea-length dress and carried a miniature version of the bride?s bouquet.

Best man was Hector Ramos. Ring bearer was Andre Rich.

Guests were seated by Adrian Rich and Joseph Lewis, friends of the couple, and Bill Griffith, cousin of the bride.

A reception was held at the couple?s home in Manhattan.

Reception attendant was Michelle Griffith, cousin of the bride. Grace and Maggie Vinduska passed out bubbles.

The bride is a graduate of Marion High School and Kansas State University in Manhattan. The groom is a graduate of Lubbock Cooper High School and is in the U.S. Army.

The couple resides in Silver Spring, Md.
