JoAnn Kathryn Kase and Thomas Robert Watson were married July 21 at the Memorial Baptist Church in New Haven, Mo., with pastor Joe Nogalski officiating.
Parents of the couple are Sharon Kase of New Haven, Dale Kase of Berger, Mo., and Bob and Susan Watson of Hillsboro.
Maid of honor was Janice Kase, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rebekah Keim, Stacy Baker, Christina Gilbert and Linda Rohlfing. Flower girls were Alice Davidson and Grace Unruh, nieces of the groom. Purple trim was added to the bride?s dress and the flower girl dresses were made by the mother of the groom.
Best man was Kris Baker. Groomsmen were Leland Davidson, brother-in-law of the groom, John Owen, Todd Becker and Eric Strecker. Ring bearers were Matthew Davidson and Jack Unruh, nephews of the groom.
Ushers were Jared Glenn, Derek Roth, Chris Kase, brother of the bride, and Brent Unruh, brother-in-law of the groom.
Scripture Reader was Amy Grannemann. Candlelighters were Jessica Rohlfing and Rachel Rohlfing, cousins of the bride. Musicians were Amy Barker and Diane Hoerstkamp. Gift carriers were Valerie and Vance Klassen.
A reception and dance followed the ceremony at Knights of Columbus in Washington, Mo. Jennifer Davidson and Rebecca Unruh, sisters of the groom, cut the cake. Bernard Weller, grandfather of the groom, was honored at the reception for his 86th birthday.
The couple honeymooned in Mazatlan, Mexico.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of New Haven High School and is working at SOS, Inc in Emporia. The groom is a 1996 graduate of Hillsboro High School and a 2000 graduate of Kansas State University. He is a State Farm Insurance agent in Emporia.
