Jordan, Ewert wed May 19 in Abilene

Gail Elizabeth Jordan and Dwight Harley Ewert were married May 19 at the Kirby House in Abilene with pastor Bruce Anthony officiating.

Attendants for the couple were Lorelei Jordan, daughter of the bride, and Brenda Ewert and Amy Shelton, daughters of the groom. Ring bearer was Riley Shelton, grandson of the groom.

The bride wore a full-length white sheath with a jacket trimmed in embroidery and pearls. She carried a bouquet of lavender and white daisies.

Following the private ceremony, a dinner was served to those in attendance.

The bride is a graduate of Canton High School and attended McPherson College. She is employed by Farmers Alliance. The groom is a graduate of Canton High School and is employed by American Energies.

Parents of the couple are Thomas and Viola Ratzloff of Canton and the late Harley and Evelyn Ewert.

After a wedding trip to Eureka Springs, Ark., the couple is at home in rural Canton. A reception is planned for a later date.
