Heinrichs united with Cunningham

Samantha Heinrichs of Wichita, and formerly of Hillsboro, and Cord Cun?ning?ham of Ottawa were united in marriage at 7 p.m. July 25 at Hillsboro Menno?nite Brethren Church.

Officiating the double-ring ceremony was pastor Joel Fredrikson, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Ottawa.

Parents of the bride are Max and Krista Heinrichs of Hillsboro. The groom?s parents are Alan and Phyllis Cunningham of Ottawa.

The bride?s grandparents are JoAnn Heinrichs and Allen Pankratz, both of Hillsboro.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. She wore a vintage-look gown of lace, tulle and Romance Satin. It featured a scalloped, illusion V-neckline and a key hole back.

Her bouquet was a combination of yellow sunflowers, white dahlias and veronica and green buttons.

The bride?s maids of honor were her sisters, Tara and Darcy Heinrichs. Brides?maids were Amy White and Mackenzie Dick.

The bridesmaids wore navy chiffon strapless gowns with sweetheart necklines. A ruched bodice with soft petal details accented the center front and back and also featured a back train. They carried bouquets of yellow sunflowers.

The groom wore a navy suit with an ivory shirt, navy suspenders and a navy/gold striped necktie.

The best man was Chad Cunningham, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Josh Dunback, Derek Bevan and Casey Thompson. They wore dark gray trousers with ivory shirts and suspenders and navy/gold striped bow ties.

The flower girl was Ken?nedy Huggard, niece of the groom. She wore a navy, tea length dress of soft tulle with a sweetheart bodice and big back bow.

Ringbearers were Mad?den and Braden Thiessen, twin cousins of the bride. They wore navy shorts with ivory shirts, grey suspenders and navy/gold bow ties.

The ushers included Seth, Brendon and Corey Reimer, cousins of the bride, and McKane ?Tex? Rogers.

Jandi Nikkel, Jenesa Klose and Laura Hendricks attended the guestbook.

Soloists for the ceremony were Alan and Chad Cun?ningham. Vera Isaac played piano.

Wedding decorations were Boston ferns atop pairs of three descending pillars linked with swags of ivory tulle.

An outdoor reception followed at The Garden Center in Hillsboro. Brett and Tammy Thiessen, cousins of the bride, were host and hostess.

Heather Madison, cousin of the bride, baked and decorated the cake. Connie and Eddie Weber and Jessie Nikkel assisted at the reception.

Alan and Phyllis Cun?ning?ham hosted am evening rehearsal dinner at the church July 24.

The couple honeymooned in Jamaica.

The bride is a graduate of Tabor College and a staff accountant at Peterson, Peterson and Goss LC, Wichita.

The groom is a graduate of McPherson College and a graphic designer at Kansas BG Products in Park City.

They live in Wichita.
