Ewert, Knowles exchange vows

Ewert-Knowles-Wedding.jpg Tiffani Ewert and Marc Knowles of Wichita were married at 3:30 p.m. June 13 in a double-ring ceremony at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral with Fathers Paul O?Callaghan and James Shadid officiating.

The bride?s parents are Morris and Linda Ewert of Goessel. Her grandparents are Lynn and Elva Penner of Hillsboro.

The groom?s parents are Steven Knowles of Wichita and Lil Higgins of The Colony, Texas.

Musicians were Archbold Duo from Wichita, playing cello and flute and singing vocals.

The bride wore a halter top white satin dress with bead work and six-foot train.

She carried a floor length bouquet by Concepts by Carmon.

Her maid of honor was Tania Sorensen. Bridesmaids were Deidra Cramer, Ashlee Jost, Andrea Ewert, Traci Ewert, Ali Jost, Hevin Knowles and Delica Ewert.

The flower girls were Maleiah and Hannah Ewert.

The best man was Roger Henre. Groomsmen were John Carter, Joshua Sturgill, Joe Binter, Steve Cody and Dathan Knowles.

Ringbearers were J.R. Knowles and Sam Sorensen.

Ushers included John Cramer, Grady Pauls and Cole Jost.

A reception was held at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral?s Parish Hall with the meal catered by ?The Food Group? of Wichita.

Reception assistant was pastor Lee Suderman, who officiated at a unity candle ceremony during the reception.

A rehearsal dinner was held at 6 p.m. Friday, June 12, at Italian Garden in Wichita.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Newman University of Wichita with a degree in elementary education. She was a 2001 high school graduate from Wichita. She is employed with USD 259-Wichita as a first grade teacher.

The groom is a 1998 high school graduate from Texas. He is employed at KPTS as a corporate support development executive.

The couple honeymooned at Oak Alley Plantation in Louisiana before returning home to Wichita.
