Berger, Broadstreet exchange vows

WED-Broadstreet-1.jpg Abbie Berger of Whitewater and Doug Broadstreet of Halstead were married Jan. 5 at 5 p.m., in the Harvey County Courthouse with Judge Walker officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Kris and Tim Berger of Whitewater, who also held a family wedding reception Feb. 7 at their home.

The groom is the son of Carol Broadstreet of Marion and the late Lane Broadstreet.

The color theme was gold, brown, rust and orange. The bouquet consisted of terra cotta roses, orange/rust calla lillies, orange tulips and orange and yellow crystals with the stem wrapped in brown, rust, and gold ribbons with gold and rust beads.

The couple both work at Wal-Mart in Newton.

In addition, the bride is the secretary at St. Luke Presbyterian Church in Newton.

The couple resides in Newton.
