Amstutz and Schrag exchange vows

Bethany Joy Amstutz and Timothy Schrag, both of Newton, exchanged wedding vows at 5 p.m. Dec. 26.

The double-ring ceremony was held at Eden Mennonite Church of Moundridge with pastor Randy Smith officiating.

The bride?s parents are Deryll and Jan Amstutz of Hillsboro. The groom?s parents are Robert and Marcella Schrag of Moundridge.

Wedding colors were light green and dark red.

The bride?s dress was chiffon with beading on the bodice and straps. Her bouquet was red and light green.

Miranda Crile was the maid of honor with the couple?s siblings, nieces and nephews, walking in carrying lanterns.

The best man was Luke Stucky. Ushers were Dave Klein, Tyler Stucky and Bryan Clark. Jill Schmidt was the hostess.

Nieces and nephews were gift carriers and candlelighters were siblings, nieces and nephews of the bride and groom.

Musicians included Book of Jebb with Sarah Le, sister of the bride; Jon Schrag, brother of the groom; Rich Toevs, playing reception music; and Greg Bontrager.

The bride graduated in 2001 from Goessel High School and in 2005 from Bethel College. She does volunteer work at Laurelville.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Moundridge and Kansas State University. He is employed at the Mennonite Church Center in Mount Pleasant, Pa., which is also the couple?s new residence.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Eden Mennonite Church.

The couple honeymooned in Las Vegas, Nev., before returning to their new home in Mount Pleasant, Pa.
