The Sunflower Theatre to host events Dec 1 and 2

The Laughing Matters, a mime, juggling and comedy act will be performing in Peabody on Dec. 2.

On December 2nd, as part of Peabody’s Come Home for Christmas celebration, the Sunflower Theatre will present Laughing Matters, a mime, juggling and comedy act. They will perform at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2 at the Peabody Senior Center at 106 N Walnut St in Peabody. Laughing Matters features Kansas City artists Jay Cady and Leslie Seifert-Cady – theater artists skilled in juggling, mime, magic, storytelling and improvisation. They have performed in 36 states and seven foreign countries. This performance is funded by the Kansas Creative Arts and Industries Commission and is free and open to the public.

The Sunflower Theatre will again welcome the McPherson Brass Band performing seasonal favorites. They will perform at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3 at St. Paul’s Luthern Church at 213 E Division Ave in Peabody. Concert and dessert are available for donation to the Sunflower Theatre.
