Senior Scribbles (Week of Oct. 3, 2007)

Greetings from the Hillsboro Senior Center.

Join us at 7:15 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, for Senior Fun Night. Bring your favorite snack food to share, and your favorite board game to play with the Tabor College Women?s Basketball team. Please RSVP for the event. At 9 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, Mary McFadden will be here for Foot Care. To make an appointment, contact 947-2304.

7:15 p.m. — Senior Fun Night.

Oven-baked chicken, hashbrown casserole, Harvard beets, wheat bread, fluffy fruit salad.

FRIDAY, Oct. 5

Salisbury steak with gravy, O?Brien potatoes, succotash, wheat roll, four fruit compote.

MONDAY, Oct. 8

Ham with pineapple ring, bread dressing, winter mix, wheat bread, apricots.

TUESDAY, Oct. 9

9 a.m. — Foot Care.

Turkey slice, mashed potatoes with gravy, peas and pearl onions, wheat roll, peaches with topping.

WEDNESDAY, Oct. 10

Day trip — Abilene.

Liver and onions or pork chop, scalloped potatoes, baked squash, wheat bread, rainbow fruit salad.
