Hillsboro senior center
Haris Zafar will be at the center at 11:15 a.m. Nov. 18.
With the holidays coming, it?s a great time to think about buying senior center meal tickets for family and friends.
We also want to thank everyone who helps support our center.
Donations are what keep the center operating and pay the expenses which average about $3,000 a month. If anyone can volunteer as a substitute Meals on Wheels driver, please call us. Also, if anyone has a program they would like to present or if someone has and idea, let us know.
For more information or to make reservations, call 620-947-2304 or stop by 212 N. Main St. between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m.

PEABODY senior center
The holiday season is in full swing. Thanksgiving is next week and Christmas is right around the corner. We always enjoy the holidays at the senior center and hope others will join us with these celebrations.
Our make-up meal is at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, which is for the day we are closed after Thanksgiving.
The menu will be chili, crackers, fruit and milk. Reservations are needed for this meal. Also, remember to call for one or more frozen meals over the Thanksgiving weekend when we are closed. and let us know how many you will need and we will deliver them with the regular deliveries on Tuesday, November 24.
Brunch is at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 25, and includes biscuits with sausage gravy, blueberry coffee cake or a cinnamon roll. This meal also requires a reservation. Great news. On New Year?s Eve day we are having Bob and the Boys playing for us to end the year on a wonderful note, which was pun intended. Watch for more details.
Thanks for reading and, as always, we look forward to seeing you at 106 N. Walnut St. or having you call us for reservations.
For more information, questions or to make reservations, call 620-983-2226.
