Senior Scribbles (Week of Nov. 7, 2007)

Greetings from the Hillsboro Senior Center. We hope you will not only take time to count your blessings this month, but cultivate an attitude of thankfulness every day.

Join us after lunch Thursday, Nov. 8 for Thursday Theatre for a video, ?Seasons of the Heart.? Commodity Distribution will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9 after lunch, Melissa Bartel will speak about life enrichment at Parkside Homes.

Monday, Nov. 12, Ann Shep?herd will lead a hymn sing-along after lunch. Foot care will begin at 9 a.m.

Tuesday, Nov. 13, we will have our Thanksgiving meal at noon Wednesday, Nov. 14, followed by a meditation by pastor Bill Danberg. Please RSVP by Nov. 12 for the meal. No late reservations will be accepted.

We invite seniors to join us at the Crown Uptown Dinner Theatre, Friday, Dec. 14, in Wichita.

The cost of the evening is $42, and includes the show, ?Christmas Show (A Musical Review),? buffet dinner, gratuity and transportation. Please RSVP by Friday, Nov. 30.
