Senior Scribbles (Week of May 28, 2008)

We are almost to June, a month that reminds me of picnics, swimming, baseball games, sipping fresh lemonade, honoring our fathers on Father?s Day and seeing new flowers in the yard and fresh vegetables in the garden.

Make the Hillsboro Senior Center part of your month.

Mary McFadden will be here for foot care Tuesday, June 3. Call 947-2304 to make an appointment.

A big thank-you to our weekly volunteers: Irma Groening, Lois Nuss, Nellie Penner, Darlene Matz, Carol Unruh, Eunice Matz, Frieda Birkle and Mariann Unruh. ?Karly Winter, director
