Senior Scribbles (Week of July 2, 2008)

Greetings from the Hillsboro Senior Center, In the light of Fourth of July, please wear red, white and blue to the center on Thursday, July 3.

The center will be closed Friday, July 4, to observe Independence Day.

WEDNESDAY, July 2

Roast beef, boiled potatoes, zucchini, wheat bread, cinnamon apples.

THURSDAY, July 3

Barbecue ribettes, potato salad, baked beans, wheat bread, fluffy fruit salad.

FRIDAY, July 4

Closed to observe Independence Day.

MONDAY, July 7

Hamburger steak, oven potatoes, peas and carrots, wheat roll, pineapple, ambrosia.

TUESDAY, July 8

Baked fish, potatoes romanoff, green beans, wheat bread, melon cup.

WEDNESDAY, July 9

Turkey tetrazzini, sliced tomatoes, wheat bread, tropical fruit, sherbet.

(Exercises 11:15 a.m.) Oven-fried chicken, sweet potato fries, corn with green pepper, wheat bread, cherries.

TUESDAY, July 8

Hamburger steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, peas and carrots, wheat roll, pineapple ambrosia.

WEDNESDAY, July 9

(Anniversary dinner.) Turkey Tetrazzini, sliced tomatoes, wheat bread, mixed fruit sherbet.
