Senior Scribbles (Week of April 2, 2008)

The Hillsboro Senior Center brings you warm spring greetings. April is a season of new growth, spring rains and green grass. We grow by giving ourselves to others and allowing other people into our lives. Come and make a new friend or two this month and enjoy the fun and fellowship the senior center can provide.

Bring your favorite umbrella Thursday, April 3 for umbrella day. Game night will be at 7 p.m. Monday, April 7. Bring a game and snacks to share. Coffee will be provided. Foot care will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 8. Call 947-2304 to make and appointment.

A big thank you to our weekly volunteers: Irma Koop, Carol Hicks, Irma Groening, Margaret Funk, Nellie Penner, Marcella Mohn, Gladys Buller, Frances Rempel, Mariann Unruh and Carol Unruh.
