Everyone is invited to Game Day Wednesday, Sept. 2, at the Hillsboro Senior Center. It?s a chance to come and enjoy a good lunch and stay for fun and fellowship.
The center will be closed Monday, Sept. 7, in celebration of Labor Day.
Looking ahead:
n Distribution of USDA commodities will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11.
Also on Friday, Pastor and Ann Shephered will be in the center to lead us in a sing-a-long. This is a time we all enjoy and encourage others to come and enjoy with us.
n National Checkers Day is Wednesday, Sept. 23. We will be having a checkers play-off with winners playing winners. Bring your checkers and sit and play.
n Watch our ?Senior Scribble? for the announcement of a Thanksgiving dinner along with silent auction of the quilt that the center ladies have been working on. The silent auction will also have many other items available.
