We have a new shipment of boxed greeting cards available, mostly birthday and get well. We won?t order again until spring, so come in and choose some to buy.

We had some new volunteers this week, Robin Nelson in the dining room, Doug Fisher going along with Leonard Klassen to deliver meals and Virginia Bowers and Shirley Moore as a meal-delivery team.

The senior center van has several seats still available for those going Sept. 21 to the Salina Senior Fair. Registration is $15, including the noon meal, workshops and speakers.

Estelle McCarty treated us to ice cream Aug. 25 in celebration of her birthday.

Merle Ecklund played the accordion for us that day, from polkas to gospel music.

Come join us Sept. 8 for a presentation on Medicare.
