Thank you to all who came out for our ice cream social fundraiser. We had a great turnout.
This week?s programs include foot care with Mary McFadden from Peabody Thursday, Sept. 2 and at 12:30 p.m. special music will be presented by Rod Koons.
The center will be closed for the Labor Day holiday, Monday, Sept. 6.
Andy Birdstall will be here at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 7 to talk about Medicare.
Everyone is invited to join us for a great meal and any of the programs scheduled.
Volunteers are still needed and so are drivers for the Meals on Wheels program.
Anyone who might be able to help is encouraged to call us at 947-2304.
Commodities will be ready for pick up at 9:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 17, at the center.

September activities include ?What?s the Buzz about Honey Bees?? with Alisha Weiser presenting Sept. 1.
Angela Base will be at the Agape Senior Center Sept. 8 to talk about flower arranging and Lucinda Hiebert is scheduled Sept. 15.
A potluck will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, with a program following.
Bingo and a hobby show are also planned in September.
We encourage suggestions for our programs, and invite people to come for lunch and stay for the activities beginning at 12:30 p.m. Wednesdays.

We have a new shipment of boxed greeting cards available, mostly birthday and get well. We won?t order again until spring, so come in and choose some to buy.
We had some new volunteers this week, Robin Nelson in the dining room, Doug Fisher going along with Leonard Klassen to deliver meals and Virginia Bowers and Shirley Moore as a meal-delivery team.
The senior center van has several seats still available for those going Sept. 21 to the Salina Senior Fair. Registration is $15, including the noon meal, workshops and speakers.
Estelle McCarty treated us to ice cream Aug. 25 in celebration of her birthday.
Merle Ecklund played the accordion for us that day, from polkas to gospel music.
