Senior Scribbles (Oct. 7, 2009)

The Hillsboro Senior Center has scheduled a style show Oct. 7 featuring fashions from Nancy?s.

Other events include foot care Oct. 8, a day trip Oct. 13 to the Rolling Hills Candy Factory and game day on Oct. 14.

The annual Marion County meeting and luncheon begin at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 15.

Theater Day is Friday, Oct. 16, and Oct. 21, Gayla Ratzlaff, coordinator of the Marion County Department for Elderly, will discuss Medicare Part D.

THURSDAY, Oct. 8

Foot care: Pasta, beef, tomatoe casserole, lettuce w/tomatoes, salad dressing, strawberries & bananas, wheat roll.

FRIDAY, Oct. 9

Meat loaf, potato wedges, spinach, pear slices, wheat bread, milk.

MONDAY, Oct. 12

Liver & onions or hamburger steak, baked potato, cabbage and carrots, fruit cocktail.

TUESDAY, Oct. 13

Day trip to Rolling Hills Candy Factory: Chicken pot pie, Scandinavian blend, sliced peaches.

WEDNESDAY, Oct. 14

Game Day: Roast beef, noodles, corn, five-cup salad, wheat roll.
