The Senior Center will be closed Thursday and Friday for Thanksgiving, which means that meals will be served three days this week, plus frozen meals will be available to the homebound.
Thursday, Nov. 19, our cook and helpers served 140 meals as one of the center?s fundraising events.Vida Bartel provided mealtime music and a sing-a-long quiz game.
Our center encourages financial planning with awareness of the Senior Center Endowment Fund in place under the umbrella of Hillsboro Community Foundation.
We are grateful for many blessings in our community and our Senior Center friendships and programs.
In the ?found? category, a black leather jacket, with keys in a pocket, has been hanging in the foyer for the last two weeks. If someone is missing a jacket, this could be theirs.
