We had a great turn out for our Thanksgiving meal, serving 150 meals total with our in-house, Meals-on-Wheels and pickup. We thank everyone who came.
We are closed Thursday and Friday for the Thanksgiving holiday. If you need ideas for a Christmas gift, consider purchasing meal tickets. Call for more information at 947-2304
On Monday Nov. 28, we will have our birthday dinner. We hope you can join us for our Christmas dinner at noon Thursday Dec. 15. We will have a sing-a-long for the program again. Sign up early, as it fills up fast.
We thank you for your donations to our senior center. As we come to the end of the year and you would like to donate to our center, we can give you a receipt for your donations for your tax purposes. We had to buy a new dish washer, so additional donations are needed to help with that.
The suggested meal donation for age 60 and over is $3.50; for those 59 and under it’s $5.25 for a great hot meal, so come give us a try soon.
For more information, call 620-947-2304, or stop by 212 N. Main St., Hillsboro.
