hillsboro senior center
This week we will play bingo on Wednesday, March 23, after the noon meal. Our Easter dinner is Friday, but I?m sorry to report we are filled up for that; you can still call and give me your name in case someone cancels. We will have our birthday dinner Monday, March 28.
We hope you can join us soon for a meal at the center. We also thank everyone who has donated financially to the center; it helps us keep going. The money we receive for our meals goes to North Central-Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging. We do not keep any of the money that pays for the food, the head cook and site manager.
We need volunteers. Call the center at 947-2304 for more information.
The prices for our meals are $3.50 for age 60 and over, and $5.25 for age 59 and under. You get a great hot meal for a great price. We hope you can join us soon.

Spring is here! Time to get out of the house and come eat at the senior center. Check the menu below, or on the local TV channel.
Senior Center Day was March 16. Sue Clough conducted the business meeting. She announced there will be two more handicap-accessible parking spaces on both the north and south sides of the center. A special reserved parking slot will be saved for Irene Richmond, who is 99 years old and deserves this courtesy.
It was also Pearl Helmer?s birthday and she brought treats. Residents at Hilltop Manor joined us for lunch. The program was given by Abigail Bernhardt, a poised and talented 8-year-old who sang for us.
Come join us March 30. The musical program will be by Sheri Schmidt and children.
